About Us

Baghajatin Tarun Sangha, one of the biggest and one of the renowned club of south Kolkata established in 1950. Over the year Tarun Sangha has made a name for itself as a vanguard club in South Kolkata and its Southern suburbs for its sundry social, cultural and sports activities. Tarun Sangha can rightfully claim to be the pioneer of several cultural events in and around the fringes of the city. We would like to cite here with joyous heart that a Cricket Coaching Academy under the leadership of former Indian Cricketer Shivsankar Paul has been lunched, and it was inaugurated by our evergreen hero Sri Sourav Ganguly with colorful presence of Md. Kaif. In theis context it is imperative to remember that Tarun sangha is running its Cricket and football Academy with more than  500 no of students.
Over the year Tarun Sangha has made a name for its sundry responsive deeds for the betterment of local populace.
Every year we organize Blood Donation Camp, health Camp, Eye Camp with the renowned hospitals & health organization. The Club also extends its helping hand towards the suffered people of neighboring localities.
Alongside as a cultural heritage our club also celebrate Pithe Puli Utsav, Basanta Utsav , Bengali New Year, Tagore’s  Birthday celebration, Annual  Sports in a grand manner .
To encourage the youth, every year we promote Dance & Music competition, Sit & Draw competition with full vigor.
One of the most awaiting program of Tarun Sangha  is  3 day Handicraft Fair for the benefit  of lady Club Members & local self Help Group , named  ANANDA HAT.
Apart from sports  and cultural activities  every  year we Organize Durga Puja in a grand maneer and drafted history as more than Ten Lakh  people thronged at the Puja Pandel to appreciate the Divine ambience which has made us glorious .
 To promote our puja and sports activities round the year, we take several activities with the presence of celebrities from Tollywood and dignitaries of Kolkata.
